Annual Summer Picnic '06
Dear Community Members:
You, your family and friends are cordially invited to the TBS Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, August 26, 2006, at the Harris Lake County Park. We survived the peak summer sizzle - so now it is time to indulge in some delectable cookout, outdoor sports and fun activities for the whole family on the lakeside! Your presence will make this picnic one to remember.

$6/person, $20/family (of four and above)

Menu:
Beef burger, hot dog, grilled chicken, chips and drinks
Event Highlights:
- 11:00 a.m.: Registration and Fee Collection
- 12:30 - 2:00: Lunch
- 2:00 - 3:00: Kids Talent Show
- 3:00 - 3:30: Rope-pulling (Dori tanatani)
- 3:30 - 4:30: Volleyball
- 4:00 - 5:00: Women's Pillow-passing and Children's games
- 5:00 - 5:30: Raffle draw and prize distribution
Please contact us if you would like to participate in the Talent Show or in the sports, or would like to volunteer. Any donation, or contribution towards prize and gifts would be highly appreciated.

Directions to Harris Lake
From Raleigh/Cary/Apex:
Take Hwy US1 South through Cary and Apex. Take the New Hill exit (Exit 89) off Hwy US1. At the top of the ramp, turn left onto New Hill-Holleman Road and go approximately 3 miles and the park entrance will be on your right.
From Fuquay-Varina/Holly Springs:
Off Hwy 55 take Avent Ferry Road away from downtown Holly Springs. Go approximately 5 miles to New Hill-Holleman Rd (landmark- large white house on corner). Take a right on New Hill- Holleman Road, cross over Harris Lake and the park entrance will be on your left.
