Eid Reunion '08
Dear TBSNC Community members and friends,
This is a reminder about our Eid reunion social scheduled for this coming Saturday Oct 18th from 7-10 pm at the Cary Senior Center (Ballroom 2) inside the Bond Park (accessed via Maury O'Dell Dr off of High House Road, approx. thousand feet east of SW Cary Parkway).
This will be a great opportunity to meet new members in our community, play a few games, have a feast (see dinner menu below), and to simply enjoy a good adda on politics and current events with our friends and families. We expect that you will attend this social event and make it memorable with your wit and laughter.
Despite high food prices and facility rental costs, we have kept the Eid-Reunion event fee below cost to encourage turnout: $10 for adults and youths (age 11 and above) and $5 for children (age 4-10). We expect that our community leaders will make a donation to soften the deficit.
Note that we will have tickets available for our November 1st musical concert event - Shangeet Shandhya. Ticket prices are $15 for reserved seats, $10 for adults and $5 for children (age 13 and below). A few tickets can be purchased on the event day (Nov 1) at $15.
Also, we will hold a special drive to complete the TBSNC membership list. We expect that you will pay $5 one-time fee and become a paid member to be eligible to participate in the upcoming TBSNC Executive Council election on Dec 13.
